Trafalgar Holden Museum is inviting Holden and motorsport enthusiasts to come together on Saturday, 12 September, for a special Peter Brock Celebration Day, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the passing of the Australian motorsport legend.
Museum president Jen Middleton said the day is an opportunity for fans to remember, not only Brock’s incredible achievements on the racetrack, but also the lasting impact he had on generations of Australians.
“Twenty years on, Peter Brock continues to inspire generations of Australians.
“This day is about celebrating his incredible legacy and giving fans the opportunity to share the memories that made Brocky such a Holden legend,” said Jen.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a special Peter Brock exhibition featuring vehicles, memorabilia and displays celebrating the life and remarkable career of the man affectionately known as the ‘King of the Mountain.’.
A highlight of the day will be the Peter Brock Dedication Wall, where visitors are invited to share their own memories, stories and tributes to one of Australia’s most loved sporting icons.
To make the day even more enjoyable, the museum will be providing a free sausage sizzle for visitors, making it the perfect opportunity to spend time with fellow Holden enthusiasts and celebrate Brock’s enduring legacy.
With more than 100 Holden vehicles and thousands of Holden artefacts on display, the Trafalgar Holden Museum is Australia’s largest museum dedicated to Holden history and offers something for visitors of all ages.
Everyone is welcome to join this special commemorative event on Saturday, 12 September, from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm at the Trafalgar Holden Museum.
