We have a broad range of advertisement sizes at a price to meet the needs of our advertisers.
How should you layout your advertisements?
You may provide your own layout of a complete advertisement in an electronic format or provide the wording and graphics (submitted separately). Your advertisement will then be laid out by a member of the Layout Team and returned to you for confirmation.
If you are providing your own advertisement in an electronic format, it:
– May be a JPG or PDF format (not Publisher, etc)
– Should be converted to grayscale before making a PDF file. ( A B&W file created in a colour mode will use colour in the “Black” and when printed will appear very faded as the colour in the “Black” does not print).
If you wish to provide your ad in a DOC (Word) format, please also provide the graphics in separate files. This will then be re-formatted by a member of the Layout team.
If you wish to provide a full advertisement (or part thereof) in hard copy, please supply a very good, clean, original copy, not folded or stapled.
Graphics for your advertisement
Clip Art – we have a wide selection available or we can use any you supply
Logos – your business / group logo can be incorporated (in electronic or good, hard copy)
Photos – electronic copies should be in JPG format at full resolution (mobile phones are usually not of a high enough quality) or good clear hard copy.
Pictures taken from the internet – are often tiny in size (only meant for viewing, not downloading). Check that any graphic you download is large enough and prints well. Otherwise find a good hard copy.
